Typical Sunday Morning

What does a typical Sunday morning look like?

Sunday School for children, youth and adults 9-10 am

Kids Church (K-5th grade) meet every 3-5th Sundays during the sermon.

Fellowship from 10-10:30 am

Worship service begins at 10:30 am

We start our Sunday morning services with musical worship. We have a variety of musical styles and instruments. Every Sunday we hear Christ-centered preaching from the Bible.

What should I wear to church?

What a great question! Here at First Baptist we want you to come as you are. Some folks in our congregation will wear their “Sunday Best,” and others will come in jeans and a t-shirt. Our desire is for you to be comfortable and have an enjoyable experience at our church.

Do I have to give an offering?

We do take an offering every week, but if you are visiting us, please do not feel obligated to give. We are just glad to have you join us! This is a time for our regular attenders and members to give back from what God has given them.

Is there childcare?

There are children’s Sunday school classes during the 9 o’clock hour for Beginners/Preschool (age 2-5), Early Elementary (K-2nd grade) and Upper Elementary (3rd-5th grade).

During the church service, there is Kid’s Church for children K-5th grade.  Kid’s Church does not take place the first Sunday of each month.

For babies (0-2 yrs) the nursery is available for both Sunday school and the church service.
