Adult Sunday School Winter 2012
Hope and Heaven – Ian Tinsley (Fireside Room)
Where does your hope come from? What lies ahead? Dr. Ian Tinsley will be teaching in the Koinonia class on the topic of heaven. In our age of the moment there is a powerful draw in the Bible to think of eternity, long for our home, and know our true identity in this world based upon the truth of the resurrection and the promise of the world to come. This class will help you understand the biblical teaching on heaven and the impact it could have on your current life as a pilgrim in this world.
The Gospel in Life – John Henderer and Mark Johnson (Fellowship Hall)
How does the gospel of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection change you? How do the implications of the gospel affect you today? What difference does grace make? Tim Keller, pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian church in Manhattan, has created a powerful video series that explores the impact of the gospel upon your life. The class will be discussion oriented around short video presentations. This class will be a great opportunity for people exploring the Christian faith and those who desire to hear the gospel once again and consider the powerful ways the gospel affects our lives.
