The next generation grows up fast! From cradle to middle school we seek to have every child who comes to FBC know that God loves them, Jesus offers to save them and give them new life, that church is for them, and that they are called to serve.
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages from 9:00 – 10:00 before our corporate worship service.
During the worship service our value of connecting the generations begins to shape our children’s ministry. We keep all children in the service (except nursery) during communion Sundays (1st Sunday of the Month). On all other Sundays we worship with our children, as part of the family, for about the first half of our service dismissing them to Children’s Church (K-2nd) or Kid’s Church (3rd – 5th) just before the sermon.
Mid-week FBC hosts the Corvallis AWANA program providing a fun and focused time for kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade to study God’s Word, make friends, and play games.
We also plan a Children’s Christmas program every year and partner with Children’s Evangelism Fellowship or another church in town over the summer to do a Vacation Bible School or kid’s camp.
