FBC & COVID-19 Response

Hello all,

Just as the sun warms our skin the Son warms our hearts, we hope this spring is growing your roots and producing spiritual fruits in your life!

In stewarding our building use, we have decided that:

The FBC buildings will remain closed until at the earliest May 6. Staff* are encouraged to work from home, but may access their offices if needed and distance is maintained from others.  Stay tuned for weekly Wednesday updates.
*Staff includes staff members of FBC and CEF.

If you would like special access to the building, please contact Daniel.  If granted please remember to; wash your hands when entering or exiting the building and observe a safe distance with others.

We would encourage you to imagine new ways of participating in ministry activities:

  • Remember, we have our fellowship fund, which is used to help our church goers in times of financial need.  If you or someone you know needs this type of help feel free to contact; Daniel Peterson, Dale Durrell or Jim Hinckley
  • Take a prayer walk, pray silently or out loud for your neighbors as you walk around your neighborhood
  • Handwrite a chapter of Scripture, here are some great options: Romans 12, 1 John 1 and Hebrews 12

“Do not forsake our gathering together, as is the habit of some, but encourage one another!”  Hebrews 10:25

The members of this team are, Pastor Russ, Matt MacClary, Tracy Sauerwein, Tina Asanov and Daniel Peterson (Chair).  Please feel free to reach out to us, my phone number is (503) 803-3992.

Thanks,

Daniel
