Offerings and Tithes This Week:
For the next few weeks, when we aren’t passing the plate in service, we will need to pay attention and plan ahead to give our tithes and offerings in an alternate fashion.
We have two options:
– By Mail: sending checks to “First Baptist Church Corvallis”, 125 NW 10th, Corvallis, OR 97330

– Offering plates in church building by the office for those in-person

Graduate Drive-Thru:

Congrats to our Graduates! We will be honoring them during the service and with a drive-thru parade in the parking lot after service starting at 12:15 PM. Check out the flyer below for details on these grads!

Meal Train for Baby Vogt:

Congrats to Rachel and Matt Vogt on the birth of their baby boy Adley Matthew Vogt. We would like to bless them by providing meals. You are welcome to either make a home cooked meal or to purchase take out food from a restaurant and deliver it. They would prefer just 1 or 2 visitors at a time and masks. Thank you for helping Rachel and Matt! https://mealtrain.com/q45rdr

Daily Bread:

Daily Bread booklets for June/July/August are available at the church. If you would like one there are a few ways to get one:

  1. Come pick one up from the office during office hours (T-F 9:00 – 12:00 and 1:00 – 4:00)
  2. Call the church office and request one be sent via mail
  3. Call the church office and request one be delivered to you. Mary Ellen Wernow is willing to deliver some.

Building Use:

With the announcement recently about FBC building reopening, we in the church office wanted to be sure to communicate clearly with regard to building use. We are taking this time to start over our building use calendar. What this means for you is that nothing is assumed; If you previously had an ongoing/one-time meeting in the building, we ask that you re-confirm with Brooke Staples that your meeting is a go. It will be very important to coordinate between us and meeting leaders on all the new details associated with opening. Email is the best method to get hold of Brooke at  email hidden; JavaScript is required. Thank you for your understanding in this time.

FBC History Document:
“The First Baptist Story, Vol. 1”
This book was written as a historical overview of the ministry and happenings of the first 120 years of our local church. It instructs and inspires us to see the Holy Spirit’s work of provision and redemption through ordinarily extraordinary people here in Corvallis, Oregon. Give it a read!

Love INC:

Help us bless those in need of hygiene items. The hygiene closet is in need of the following item(s) this week: ladies’ and men’s razors, ladies’ and men’s shaving cream, ladies’ and men’s deodorant, lotion, size five and six diapers, laundry detergent, and hair brushes. Please drop off any donations to the church office during the week.
